From Raleigh Via US 401 South

1) From Raleigh, take US 401 South to Fayetteville;
2) Near Fayetteville, US 401 South also becomes Ramsey St.;
3) Now follow Ramsey St.—not US 401—to Rowan St.;
4) Turn right onto Rowan St. and go to Bragg Blvd.;
5) Turn left onto Bragg Blvd., then continue until you cross Hay St., onto what becomes Robeson St. (On your right, you will pass Highsmith Rainey Hospital);
6) From Robeson, turn right onto W. Russell St.;
7) W. Russell St. ends in one block—turn left onto McIver St., then bear right onto McGilvary St.;
8) Take your first right turn, onto Fountainhead Lane. (You should now be behind the hospital.);
9) Look on the right for #227, the E. Newton Smith Public Health Center, a tan, four story, rock type building.

From the north and northeast Via I-95 South

1) From the north and northeast, take I-95 South;
2) Near Fayetteville, bear right onto Bus. 95-Bus. 301. (Not I-95 South; it bypasses Fayetteville.);
3) Continue on Bus. 95-301 to the 3rd traffic light, at East Russell St.;
4) Turn right onto E. Russell St.;
5) When Russell St. ends—one block after crossing Robeson St.—turn left onto McIver St., then bear right at the first turn, McGilvary St.;
6) Take your first right turn from McGilvary onto Fountainhead Lane. (You should now be behind the hospital.);
7) Look on the right for #227, the E. Newton Smith Public Health Center, a tan, four story, rock type building.

From Clinton Via NC 24 West

1) From Clinton take NC 24 West;
2) Stay on NC 24 West until you get to Bragg Boulevard;
3) Turn left onto Bragg Blvd., following it across Hay St.—Bragg Blvd. becomes Robeson St.;
4) From Robeson St., turn right onto W. Russell St.;
5) W. Russell St. ends one block after the turn from Robeson St.—turn left onto McIver St., then bear right onto McGilvary St.;
6) Take your first right turn, onto Fountainhead Lane. (You should now be behind the hospital.);
7) Look on the right for #227, the E. Newton Smith Public Health Center, a tan, four story, rock type building.

From Elizabethtown and Wilmington Via NC 87 North

1) From Wilmington, take US 74-US 76 West to NC 87 North;
2) Take NC 87 North to Elizabethtown;
3) From Elizabethtown, take/stay on NC 87 North to Business I-95–Bus. US 301 (not I-95, which bypasses Fayetteville);
4) From NC 87, turn right onto Bus. I-95–US 301 and go to East Russell St.;
5) Turn left onto E. Russell Street;
6) Russell St. ends one block after crossing Robeson St.—turn left onto McIver St., then bear right onto McGilvary St.;
7) Take your first right turn, onto Fountainhead Lane. (You should now be behind the hospital.);
8) Look on the right for #227, the E. Newton Smith Public Health Center, a tan, four story, rock type building.

From Lumberton Via I-95 North

1) From Lumberton, take I-95 North to Business I-95–Bus. US 301;
2) Take Business I-95–US 301 into Fayetteville to Gillespie St.;
3) Turn left onto Gillespie St.;
4) Continue on Gillespie downtown to Russell St.—turn left onto West Russell St.;
5) When W. Russell St. ends—one block after crossing Robeson St.—turn left onto McIver St., then bear right at the first turn, McGilvary St.;
6) Take your first right turn from McGilvary onto Fountainhead Lane. (You should now be behind the hospital.);
7) Look on the right for #227, the E. Newton Smith Public Health Center, a tan, four story, rock type building.

From Raeford and Laurinburg Via US 401 North

1) From Laurinburg, take US 401 North to Raeford;
2) From Raeford, take US 401 North to Fayetteville and Business US 401;
3) Take Bus. US 401 to Robeson St.—turn right onto Robeson St.;
4) Follow Robeson until it becomes one way—you’ll be turning right, onto Rankin St.;
5) Take Rankin—getting to the left side of the street—to Winslow St., and turn left onto Winslow;
6) From Winslow St., take a left turn onto West Russell St.;
7) Stay on W. Russell St. (you will cross Robeson St., then pass Highsmith Rainey Hospital, on your right);
8) When Russell St. ends—one block after crossing Robeson—turn left onto McIver St., then bear right at the first turn, McGilvary St.;
9) Take your first right turn from McGilvary onto Fountainhead Lane. (You should now be behind the hospital.);
10) Look on the right for #227, the E. Newton Smith Public Health Center, a tan, four story, rock type building.

From Sanford and Spring Lake Via NC 24 East-NC 87 South

1) From Sanford, take NC 87 South to Spring Lake;
2) From Spring Lake, take US 24 East to Fayetteville—US 24 becomes Bragg Blvd.;
3) Follow Bragg Blvd. to downtown Fayetteville;
4) In downtown Fayetteville, continue on Bragg Blvd. (NC 24 will go left.);
5) Bragg Blvd. crosses Hay St. and becomes Robeson St.;
6) Continue on Robeson St.—on your right, you will pass Highsmith Rainey Hospital;
7) Turn right onto W. Russell St.;
8) W. Russell St. ends in one block—turn left onto McIver St., then bear right onto McGilvary St.;
9) Take your first right turn, onto Fountainhead Lane. (You should now be behind the hospital.);
