The Catawba County Health Department Teleconferencing site is part of
the Public Health Training and Information Network, a two-way, fully interactive
network linking 6 North Carolina Health Departments with the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Public Health. Operational
since 1995, Catawba is connected to the PHTIN via the North Carolina Information
Highway, which also gives them access to over 200 sites across the state.
