From Winston-Salem via US 421 North

1) Take US 421 North toward Wilkesboro and I-77;
2) Take I-77 North toward Mt. Airy;
3) At Exit 83, exit left onto US 21 North, to Sparta—go into Sparta;
4) At NC 18—the 2nd stoplight—turn left onto NC 18 South and travel approx. 1 mile—watch for the sign on the right for the New River Behavioral Health Center;
5) At the sign, turn right onto Health Services Rd. and go to the end of the driveway—the brick building on the right is the Alleghany Health Center.

From Wilkesboro via NC 18 North

1) Take NC 18 North to Sparta;
2) As you near Sparta, watch for the sign on left for the New River Behavioral Health Center;
3) At the sign, turn left onto Health Services Rd. and go to the end of the driveway—the brick building on the right is the Alleghany Health Center.

From Mt. Airy via NC 89 North

1) Take NC 89 North toward Sparta and NC 18;
2) Take NC 18 South to Sparta;
3) Continue on NC 18 South through the intersection of NC 18 South with US 21 (there’s a stoplight at the intersection);
4) On NC 18 South, approx. 1 mile past the stoplight, watch for the sign on the right for the New River Behavioral Health Center;
5) At the sign, turn right onto Health Services Rd. and go to the end of the driveway—the brick building on the right is the Alleghany Health Center.

From Independence, VA, via US 21 South

1) Take US 21 South to Sparta, NC;
2) In Sparta, at the intersection of US 21 South with NC 18—there’s a stoplight at the intersection—turn right onto NC 18 South;
3) On NC 18 South, approx. 1 mile past the stoplight, watch for the sign on the right for the New River Behavioral Health Center;
4) At the sign, turn right onto Health Services Rd. and go to the end of the driveway—the brick building on the right is the Alleghany Health Center.
