From Norfolk, VA via US 17 South

1) Take US 17 South to Elizabeth City;
2) Take the US 17 Bypass to its intersection with Halstead Blvd. (beside Astro Mart);
3) Turn left on Halstead Blvd. and travel approximately 1 mile to Roanoke Ave.;
4) Turn left onto Roanoke Ave.—the Health Department is about 1/2 mile on the right.

From Raleigh via US 17 North

1) Take US 17 North to Elizabeth City;
2) Take US 17 Business (Ehringhaus Street) to Halstead Blvd. (beside Burger King);
3) Turn right on Halstead Blvd. and travel for about 3/4 of a mile to Roanoke Ave.;
4) Turn left onto Roanoke Ave.—the Health Department is about 1/2 mile on the right.
