From north or south of Lumberton via I-95

1) Take I-95 (from the north, or the south) to Lumberton;
2) In Lumberton, take Exit 17 (the Cancer Institute/Pembroke exit);
3a) Coming from the north, getting off I-95 South—at the end of the ramp, turn right onto NC 72 [not marked, but heading west];
3b) Coming from the south, getting off I-95 North—at the end of the ramp, turn left onto NC 72 [not marked, but heading west];
4) Follow NC 72 until you reach a stoplight and fork in the road to the left where NC 711 meets NC 72. In the fork, between NC 72 and NC 711, is a 3-building complex (the DSS Building, Mental Health, and Coop. Ext. Office);
5) Continue on NC 72 through the stoplight—just past NC 711 and past/behind the buildings, turn left into the parking lot;
6) The Health Department building is to your left, with a wooden sign on it that reads “Robeson County Health Dept.”
